The team Calendar encourages you as a leader to think intentionally about how you will lead and develop your team. It allows you to document in a simple checklist the commitments you are making as a manager.

Turn on the Team Development Plan
To be able to set your team's development plan rules, you must first turn team development planning on for your department.
Navigate to your team's development plan.
Open the Department tab and select Enrolled in Team Development.
How to complete your Team Development Plan, as a manager
Uniterrupted Focus-Time. Record when you plan to 'close the door' to think through your priorities and your team's.
Note:
Team Meeting(s). Click the link to record the meetings you will use to lead your team. We recommend this naming convetion: [Frequency]+[Group]+[Type]+"Meeting" Ex. "Weekly Engineering Team Meeting."
Quarterly Planning Meeting. Click the link to create the meeting you will use to plan each quarter with your team.
1:1 Meetings. Click the link to create a 1:1 meeting for each of your team members. We recommend this naming convetion: [Frequency]+[Group]+[Type]+"Meeting" Ex. "Weekly Sam/Aria 1:1 Meeting."
Self Check-ins Due By. Record when your team's self check-ins are due. Ex. "Monday at 8:30 AM," or "Last Friday of month at 4:00 PM."
Plans Approved By. Record when your team's plans for the next quarter should be completed and approved. The deadline is expressed as the number of days before the end of the quarter.
Quarterly 1:1s Due By. Record when your quarterly 1:1 sessions with each team member should be completed. The deadline is expressed as the number of days after the end of the quarter.
Require Professional Development Projects for Team Members? Select this if you plan to require your team members to have at least one professional development project on their plan at all times.
Require Team Development Projects? Select this if you plan to consistently engage your team with team development projects.
