Icons - What the Different Icons Mean

Goal and project icons

Responsible | the initials of the person responsible for this item; hover over the icon to see their full name

Goal | this item is a goal

Multi-year Project | a project scoped to take more than one year

Annual Project | a project scoped to take one year

Quarter Project | a project scoped to take one quarter

Project | a small project which likely supports a larger project


Professional Development | a project specifically for your professional development

Status icons

Stage

None/Not Started 
  • None: Use this stage for items you don’t need reminders for.
  • Not Started: New assignments will appear here. New Projects/MORs is set to Not Started by default

In Progress | Change a project to in progress once you have begun working it

Complete | The project is complete

Canceled | the MOR or project has been stopped

State

Green | active and in good condition; the person responsible has accepted the and expects the outcomes to be met on time

Yellow | active and there is a small risk of not meeting the outcomes on time

Red | active and there is a large risk of not meeting the outcomes on time

Check-in alerts


Coming Due | the hourglass on a status indicates a check-in is coming due within the next two days

Overdue | the exclamation point indicates a check-in is overdue

Note:

A clear status icon indicates this item is up-to-date based on the check-in schedule.

Row option icons

Edit | when you hover over a field that can be edited, this appears so you can do a quick-edit

Drag/Move | when you hover over a goal or project, this drag handle appears so you can move the item to where you want it in a plan or work breakdown

More Options | whenever you see these three dots, you know you have more options for the thing you are looking at

Add to Plan | add an item from your To-Do List to your plan (or another user's plan)

Work Breakdown | open item's work breakdown; appears on hover, but if the item already has a breakdown it is always visible

Messaging icons

Recent Messages | appears when a goal or project has recent messages (within 7 days); click to open

Older Messages | appears when a goal or project has older messages (beyond 7 days); click to open

Add Message | when you hover a goal or project this icon appears so you can quickly add a new message

Unread Message | when viewing a message stream, the orange triangle in the upper right of a message lets you know you have not yet read the message

Pinned Message | pinned messages have this icon in the upper left; pinned messages always appear at the top of a message stream

Toolbar icons

Add | add goals, projects, and sections from the blue plus

Expand | open a side panel in the main screen

Pin | pin a side panel so it remains put even while you navigate

Pinned | this side panel is pinned; click to unpin

Filter | not seeing what you expect? Check your filters. You can filter items in and out of your plan, To-Do List, or Work Breakdown based on different criteria

Start Self Check-in | click here to start the weekly Self-Check-in process on your individual plan

Sort | many lists in the system can be sorted so you can see items group by different criteria

Refresh | made some changes and want an update to what you are seeing? click the refresh

More Options | whenever you see these three dots, you know you have more options for the thing you are looking at
