How to Take the Team Development Assessment
The Purpose of the Team Development Assessment (TDA)
The Team Development Assessment (TDA) is a set of 22 questions (see last section of this article) designed to do the following:
- Identify planning priorities for the entire organization
- Identify team development priorities for workgroups
- Build teamwork and engagement
- Give your team actionable feedback
- Provide a benchmark of progress in applying the best practices
The questions are grouped into six categories of best practices effective leaders need to exhibit.
How to Take the TDA
- Log into LeadFirst (6D)
- Go to the main three-bar menu
- Open Favorites
- Select Team Development Assessment (likely at the bottom of your list of favorites)
- Click the blue plus in the upper right
- Complete the form
- Click Save
Important:
After you submit your response, you will see it listed in the main Team Development Assessment screen. Each user can only see his/her own response. No other user can see or have access to your responses.
