How to Take the Team Development Assessment

The Purpose of the Team Development Assessment (TDA)

The Team Development Assessment (TDA) is a set of 22 questions (see last section of this article) designed to do the following:

  • Identify planning priorities for the entire organization
  • Identify team development priorities for workgroups
  • Build teamwork and engagement
  • Give your team actionable feedback
  • Provide a benchmark of progress in applying the best practices
The questions are grouped into six categories of best practices effective leaders need to exhibit.

How to Take the TDA

  1. Log into LeadFirst (6D)
  2. Go to the main three-bar menu 
  3. Open Favorites
  4. Select Team Development Assessment (likely at the bottom of your list of favorites)
  5. Click the blue plus in the upper right
  6. Complete the form
  7. Click Save

Important:

After you submit your response, you will see it listed in the main Team Development Assessment screen. Each user can only see his/her own response. No other user can see or have access to your responses.
