First-Time Login to LeadFirst
Welcome to LeadFirst collaboration software! This article will help you get logged into the system for the first time.
Log in for the first time
Your LeadFirst coach has likely sent your login credentials to your work email. Look for an email with the subject "Welcome to LeadFirst" from DoNotReply@leadfirst.ai.
If you do not see the email, please check your junk folder or contact your LeadFirst coach.
Steps to Log In:
- Open the welcome email and click the "Click here to log in" link.
- You will be prompted to create your password before accessing your account.
Once your password is set, you can log in to LeadFirst and start using the platform.

Note:
A few of our URLs will still refer to Six Disciplines, our recent name.

A new browser tab will open, prompting you to create a new password before signing in.
Select a new password that meets the listed requirements. Type and confirm your new password > click Reset Password.
Since this is your first time in the system, you will be asked to agree to the SUBSCRIPTION SERVICES AGREEMENT agreement.
Once in the system, the first screen you will be taken to is your Individual Plan. Be sure to go to the next step and install the desktop app so you can receive real-time notifications.

Important:
If you happen to log out without installing and pinning the desktop app to your taskbar (see the next step), you can return to the login screen by going to LeadFirst.ai and clicking LOGIN.
Install the Windows desktop app
Installing the LeadFirst Windows Desktop App and pinning it to your taskbar will give you the fastest, easiest way to access the system going forward.
Update your browser
LeadFirst works in today’s most popular browsers, but the desktop app (Progressive Web App) is only available with Google Chrome and the newest version of Microsoft Edge. If you already have one of these browsers, skip to step 2.
Download and install the newest version of Google Chrome from https://www.google.com/chrome/
OR
- Download and install the newest version of Microsoft Edge from https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/edge
IF you install a new browser, you may need to log back into LeadFirst.
- Go to LeadFirst.ai
- Click LOGIN in the upper-right
- At the login screen, enter your work email and the new password you created, and sign in.
Install the Windows desktop app
Go to the three-bar menu in the upper-left > open Administration > click Install Desktop App > when prompted by your browser, click Install.
Important:
NOTE: IF you do not see the option to Install Desktop App, you likely need to update your browser. Go back to step one to make sure you are using Chrome or the newest version of Microsoft Edge.

Turn on Windows notifications
With the Windows App installed, you should be prompted to allow notifications. We recommend that you DO allow notifications.
Now when you receive a LeadFirst message, you will also receive a Windows notification. Clicking the notification pop-up will open the app.
IF you are not prompted to allow notifications, you can manually enable notifications. Here is how to do that, first in Chrome and then in Edge.
Chrome - manually allow notifications
Click the three-dot menu in the upper right of the Windows app > select App info > within App info, turn on Notifications.

Edge - manually allow notifications
Click the three-dot menu in the upper right of the Windows app > select App permissions > open the Notifications dropdown menu > select Allow.
