Fill in the Summary Screen for Annual Reviews (Manager)

The Summary screen of the Annual Review process allows you to set the overall weighting for the major sections of the team member assessment and provide further feedback.

At the top of the screen, you will find your organization's rating scale. While your organization may have modified the scale, here is LeadFirst's standard rating scale. 

Set the overall weighting. Use weighting to emphasize the performance elements you consider most important. All the items must add up to 100%.

  • If a team member's ongoing responsibilities are the bulk of their work, then Goal Results should be weighted higher.
  • If a team member's job is primarily project-oriented, weight Project Results higher.
  • Your HR manager sets the default weighting for the entire organization, but as a manager, you have the ability to adjust the weighting to fit your team member's role.
The Result scores for Goals and Projects are weighted averages. The Leadership Results are straight averages. The final result score is also a weighted average.
If you are using LeadFirst's standard rating scale, as mentioned above, then a final score of 3.0 would be satisfactory (meeting all the expectations of the manager).
