Change a MOR or Project's Check-in Schedule
Visual alerts of check-in schedule
Status icons alert you when a MOR or project needs checked in. You can set a check-in schedule for each item in your plan (see the next section to learn how to set the schedule). Based on that schedule, the status icon will alert you as to when you need to perform a check-in.
The hourglass indicates a check-in is coming due within the next two days.
The exclamation point indicates a check-in is overdue.
The clear status icon indicates this item is up-to-date based on the check-in schedule.
Setting your check-in schedule
You can modify any item's check-in schedule. First, click on the status or open the item and find the Check-in tab.
By default, the system suggests you perform a check-in once a week before Monday morning. You can change that schedule to a different day of the week or select multiple days of the week. You can also choose to only check in every 2 weeks (or any other specified # of weeks) and select what day of the week you want that check-in to be on.
IF you change the check-in frequency to monthly, you can modify the schedule to a specific day of the month or a specific weekday within the month.
When you set the check-in schedule, the system will alert you when an item is coming due for a check-in based on that schedule.
And once an item is overdue based on the check-in schedule, the status icon will include an exclamation point alerting you to check in that item.
Important:
The system will never change a status from green to yellow or yellow to red; it will only add the schedule indicator to your current status.
