Permissions

Permissions set the user's access level within LeadFirst and control what features they can use. Only HR Administrators and System Administrators can change user permissions.

To view your permission level, go to your Snapshot > open Team Member > select the Permissions tab.

If you are a manger, you can view a team member's permission level by opening My Team in the main menu > select the team member > from their Snapshot, open Team Member > select the Permissions tab.

System and HR Admins can easily access team member settings via the main menu > Administration > Team Members > select team member > open Permissions tab.

System and HR Admins can use the check boxes to activate/deactivate permission levels. Below you can find an overview of each level of access.

Annual Check-in User. For users only using the Annual Check-in feature.

Collaborator User. For users who need limited access to the system.

Includes:

  • meetings
  • To-Do list
  • messages
  • MORs
  • projects
  • dashboards.

Excludes:

  • plans
  • quarterly check-ins
  • HR sensitive information for other users
  • system settings

External Coach. For LeadFirst coaches only.

Full Enrollee. For users who need full access to the features of the system but without HR or System Admin rights.

Includes:

  • meetings
  • To-Do list
  • messages
  • MORs
  • projects
  • dashboards.
  • plans
  • quarterly check-ins

Excludes:

  • HR sensitive information for other users
  • system settings

NOTE: Removing the Full Enrollee permission will archive the team member’s individual plan and they will no longer be able to have goals, projects and plans associated to them.

HR Administrator. For Human Resource team members who can access the entire system and make system-level changes.

Startup User. For new users with limited access, including exercises, To-Do list, and messages.

'Startup User' cannot be set once other permissions have been assigned

Survey Administrator. Users with access to all the features, including creating new users and other system-level changes. They do not, however, have access to HR-sensitive material.
