DISC Assessments & Reports

DISC assessments help your team understand their communication styles to increase emotional intelligence and promote healthy communication.

Viewing DISC reports

To view DISC reports already on file for your team, go to the main menu > Leadership Development > select DISC Assessments. You can also get there from any team member's Snapshot by opening the Communication Style card.

To open a report, click on the hyperlinked title.

You can view, download, or print the PDF file.

Ordering assessments

To start, go to the main menu > Leadership Development > select DISC Assessments. From the DISC Assessments screen, click the blue plus > select New Assessment.

Anyone can request a DISC Assessment for any individual, and they will have see to a list of all employees across the entire organization for whom they can place an order or request an assessment.


Before you order an assessment, you can see how many assessments your organization has available. Pending assessments do count against your current availability. However, reordering an assessment for a user with an incomplete assessment will not use another assessment; they will simply be sent a reminder to complete the already pending assessment.

Using the row checkboxes, select the team members for whom you want to order assessments > and select Order Assessments.

If you want to order an assessment for a single user, you can use the row three-dot menu.

Before you place the order, the system confirms the number of assessments you are ordering and the resulting number of available assessments for your organization.

Users who were ordered to do assessments will receive an email and a LeadFirst message to complete the assessment. Clicking on the message link will open the assessment.

To view completed DISC reports, go to the main menu > Leadership Development > select DISC Assessments. You can also get there from any team member's Snapshot by opening the Communication Style card.

Here, you will be able to see the status of your entire team's assessments.

Ordering group reports

Once your team members have completed their DISC assessments, you can run a team report. Go to the main menu > Leadership Development > select DISC Assessments > click the blue plus > select New Team Report.

Click the link to add multiple team members to the report at once.

With all the team members you want in the report selected, click Add to Report.

Verify again that all your team members are listed in the Team Members field and click Save.

You will then receive this message.

In the DISC Reports screen you can find the new report.

Access/Security:

  • Team members can see only their own DISC reports.
  • Managers and management up the chain of command can also view team members' reports.
  • Managers and HR can order assessments and Team Reports.
